Highside Adventure Tours

Summit county, Colorado whitewater outfitter

The nature scenery of Colorado and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream make the trip here worthwhile. The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master in this state than those in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. There are nice comfortable hotels here, but if
you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. The put-in location is a short drive from Silverthorne. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of places for that.

Briefly
about the general area:
A spree to Arapaho National Forest when you're here at Highside Adventure Tours is a good idea, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Lily Pad Lake Trail. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Copper Mountain since you're here. If the weather is splendid here at Highside Adventure Tours, you can go for a hike along the Mesa-Cortina Trail; if you're stopping by from Frisco, you won't be

the only one. Ryan Gulch is a tremendous location to have a look at nearby, and a spree to close by Frisco Bay is very relaxing. Not much rainfall falls here at Highside Adventure Tours. During July this area sees the most rain; February is when it's the driest. Summertime at Highside Adventure Tours comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and night lows at Highside Adventure Tours during the winter generally plunge into the 0's.
