If you're coming from Boise City-Nampa it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often more difficult than elsewhere, |
so if you're not from around here don't forget that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving. A good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors have a lot of people coming here. Some people prefer whitewater
| rafting and some kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. The nature scenery of Idaho and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water attract people from near and far.
