The starting location is a short drive from Boise City-Nampa. The beautiful scenery of Idaho and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more demanding, so if you're not from around here don't forget that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. |
Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way in this general area you'll find lots of paddling spots. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem
| but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Getting your paddling muscles activated and a chance to spend some time outdoors will make you glad you came.

great hiking adventure along the Shirts Creek Trail. Lots of fun awaits you along this river. Around Spence Faye you don’t get a lot of rain. During November this area sees the most rain while July is the month with the
least amount of precipitation. Through the months of summer here at Spence Faye, high temperatures frequently get into the 90's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are mostly in the 30's; overnight lows in the 10's for Spence Faye.
