There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. The beautiful Cumberland Plateau Mountains scenery is an added bonus. Getting some good exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors have a lot of people coming here. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often easier than elsewhere, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that rivers in this state are not as hard as elsewhere. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. If you're coming from Corbin it's not a long drive at all to the starting   location. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this area has a large number of paddling spots. Briefly about the general area: Going for a hike on the Cumberland Falls Trail Number Two is always a magnificent adventure, and Amos Falls is an inspiring spot to go to while you're here. But wait, there's more entertaining stuff to do in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Near Sheltowee Trace Outfitters you hit upon the Bark Camp Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail.
