If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more forgiving, so don't forget that the rivers in this state are less demanding. The river winds through the Lewis Range and you get great scenery. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this is an area with not too many other rivers
    for that. The put-in location is a reasonable drive from Missoula. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. The beautiful scenery of Missoula County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the
water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. A bit of exercise and spending some quality time in nature will make you glad you came.

Take a hike on the Morrell Falls National Recreation Trail; at Confluence Rafting you always meet someone from Seeley Lake.
Yeah, come up here to the Lewis Range for a good time. Confluence Rafting is right by the Pyramid Pass Trail, and a visit to Placid Lake State Park invigorates the spirit. A river like this is too good to miss. Salmon Lake State Park is a good place to go if you're at Confluence Rafting. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Confluence Rafting. Throughout the month of January you get the most snow around here, and July on the other hand is the driest. High temperatures at Confluence Rafting during the summertime months are in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's.
