The scenic beauty of Flathead County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream beats anything. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way there are lots of good spots for that     around here. No need to look hard for hotels, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. Getting your paddling muscles activated and spending some quality time in nature have people coming from far and near. The starting location is a short drive from Kalispell. There's camping available near Snappy Sport Center. Briefly about the general area: You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Blacktail Mountain since you're here. Have a glorious hiking adventure along the Danny on Memorial National Recreation Trail; there are plenty of people from Kalispell here. This river is so great. Hiking along the Micho   Trail is glorious fun, and a tour to Whitefish Lake State Park is a good idea. A trip to Snappy Sport Center wouldn’t be complete without a visit to close by Lone Pine State Park. At Snappy Sport Center you don’t see much rainfall. The month with most of the rain is June, and October is when it's the driest. Throughout the months of summer, highs commonly are in the 80's at Snappy Sport Center, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's.
