Adventure Calls

Genesee county, New York whitewater outfitter

  River Guides
Salmon River
Rafts

The starting location is a short drive from Batavia. The beautiful scenery of Genesee County and the cool fresh water have people coming here. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in New York is often tougher than elsewhere, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that quite a few of the sections here are not easy. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay
the night, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Getting a good workout and just being out on the river for a while have people coming from far and near. And of course, there are campgrounds
nearby. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this is an area with not too many other spots for that.

Briefly about the general area:
Adventure Calls is not far at all from Stafford. High temperatures at Adventure Calls all through the months of summer are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and overnight lows in the

10's for Adventure Calls. The amount of rainfall that falls at Adventure Calls is close to the national average. August is when you get the most rain here while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
