If you're coming from Medford it's not a long drive at all to the starting location. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. Getting a good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors will have you coming back for more. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often tougher than in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many runs in this state are not easy. Oregon scenery and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream are reasons enough to come here and paddle. The river winds through the Southern Cascade Range and you get great scenery. Not too many hotels

beauty of this vicinity. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting things the Southern Cascade Range has to offer. Flood Rock is a great location to have a look at while in the area; a nice place is Conover
Gulch. This river is a wonderful place to visit. You're sure to stumble upon some great people from Shady Cove here, and Casey State Park is both great and pretty. Hiking along the Alco Trail is wonderful fun. Get WETT Rafting
gets a normal amount of rainfall. The month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is when it's the driest. The warmest time of the year at Get WETT Rafting arrives with high temperatures in the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's.
