The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often tougher than in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many runs in this state are not easy. The river winds through the Southern Cascade Range and you get great scenery. Flood Rock is a great location to have a look at while in the area; a nice place is Conover Gulch. This river is a wonderful place to visit. You're sure to stumble upon some great people from Shady Cove here, and Casey State Park is both great and pretty. Hiking along the Alco Trail is wonderful fun.
