The put-in location is a short drive from Portland-Vancouver-Beaverton. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. The nature scenery of Oregon and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water beats anything. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often tougher than in other states, so better not forget that many of the sections here are not safe for beginners. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking |
in this general area you'll find lots of paddling rivers. There are plenty of hotels here if you want to spend a night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick.
