Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good spots. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you     come because it is a very popular destination. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. The put-in is not too far from Cleveland. The wonderful Tennessee scenery and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water attract people from near and far. Great exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great attractions for lots of people. Briefly about the general area: Hildebrand Bend is a nice location to stop by while in the area. When you're here at Adventures Unlimited it's always fun to have a look at Hiwassee/Ocoee Scenic River State Park, and the nice folks of Cleveland like to hang out close by. Coming to this river is always a good   idea. Since you're here at Adventures Unlimited why not have a look at Sloan Gap, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Arbutus Trail. If you're interested in cool geologic marks, try Cates Bend; if you want to hit the beach, Parksville Beach is close at hand. Going for a hike along the Chilhowee Forest Walk Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. All the water falling down from the sky makes Adventures Unlimited a wet location. The wettest month of the year is usually March, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is October.
