Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of spots for that. Great exercise and just hanging out with mother nature have a lot of people coming here. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often more difficult than elsewhere, so you'd better keep in mind that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners. Good hiking is available along the Chilhowee Forest Walk Trail, and while you're here here do have a look at close by Parksville Beach. If you're addicted to cool geologic highlights, try Cates Bend, and you might also want to pay a visit to Todd Hollow since you're here at Ocoee Adventure. Hildebrand Bend is an interesting spot to stop by while at Ocoee Adventure, and lots of folks from Benton come here. All the outdoors entertaining stuff in close proximity to Ocoee Adventure will keep you coming back many times.
