The put-in is not too far from Salt Lake City. The wild scenery of the Wasatch Range is great. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often easier than in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that rivers in this state are not as hard as elsewhere. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good spots. There are many good hotels to choose from, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. A bit of   exercise and just being out on the river for a while are great reasons to come.
