If you're coming from Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue it's not a long drive at all to the starting location. If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more demanding, so you'd better keep in mind that quite a few of the sections here are not easy. The nature scenery of King County and the water flowing gracefully down Adventure Professionals have people coming here. Getting your paddling muscles activated |
and spending some quality time in nature are great reasons to come. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way in this general area
| you'll find lots of paddling places.
Briefly about the general area: Going to Blake Island State Park in the neighborhood of Adventure Professionals is a pleasant thing to do; if you're looking for a beach nearby we recommend Mount Baker Beach. At Adventure Professionals you always meet someone from Seattle; nothing beats kicking back at Alki Beach. At this river you will always have a good time. If you're here at Adventure Professionals, | |
|
do take a journey to Smith Cove, and a journey to Fay Bainbridge State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. Adventure Professionals is a good place of typical rain. Of all the months in a year December is the one with
the most rain, and the driest month is July. Through the long summer days highs here at Adventure Professionals get into the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. High temperatures through
the wintertime are normally in the 40's while Adventure Professionals nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 30's.
