Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Washington is often more difficult than elsewhere, so keep in mind that lots of rivers here are not for beginners. Whitewater paddling here in the Wenatchee Mountains is a great experience. The campgrounds here at Blue SKY Outfitters are pretty     good. Briefly about the general area: Hay Canyon is a splendid site to spend some time at, and going for a hike on the Devils Gulch Trail is always a good adventure. So many exciting things to do in the Wenatchee Mountains, not enough time. Lincoln Rock State Park is a scenic location any time of year,   and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Mission Ridge. The surroundings of this river have so much to offer. Wenatchee Confluence State Park is a fine spot to stretch your legs a bit, and folks from Cashmere love to come here. There is a great hiking trail in the neighborhood of Blue SKY Outfitters called the Red Hill Trail. Blue SKY Outfitters gets a common amount of rain. All through January this area sees the most snow, and the driest of the months is July.
