The scenic beauty of Washington and the playfulness of the water will make you feel great. No shortage of good hotels, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Great exercise and just being out on the river for a while are great attractions for lots of people. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way there are lots of good places for that around here. |
If you're coming from Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside Washington
| you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so don't forget that rivers here are less forgiving.
Briefly about the general area: Places like Bridle Trails State Park are splendid to stop by; you are in the vicinity of Pickle Point while you're here. There are plenty of people from Medina here at Blue Water Expeditions. Saint Edwards State Park is a great place, and beaches are magnificent and Brighton Beach is no exception. | |
