McFarland Rafting

Pierce county, Washington whitewater outfitter

The natural beauty of Pierce County and the cool fresh water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often more difficult than elsewhere, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners. Getting your paddling muscles activated and a chance to spend some time outdoors will make you glad you came. The starting point is not too far
from Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of spots for that. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. There are plenty of hotels here if
you want to spend a night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick.

Briefly about the general area:
You'll meet a lot of people from Spanaway here, and while here here do explore close by Caledonia Beach. Dash Point State Park is a good place to go if you're at McFarland Rafting; you can spend the day on the beach at Northilla Beach. This river is a great place to visit. Don't leave McFarland Rafting

without going to Saltwater State Park. Throughout the months of summer at McFarland Rafting highs are frequently in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at McFarland Rafting fall into the 30's. A lot of rainfall falls at McFarland Rafting. December is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July.
