The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Washington are often tougher than in other states, so don't forget that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are lots of good rivers for that around here. The     campgrounds here at Zoller's Outdoor Odysseys are pretty good. If you're coming from Hood River it's not a long drive at all to the starting location. The river winds through the Northern Cascade Range and you get great scenery. Getting your paddling muscles activated and just being out on the river for a while have people coming from far and near. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Briefly about the general area: You'll meet a lot of folks from White Salmon here, and the Little Baldy Trail is a nice hiking   trail nearby. These mountains rock, just explore all the entertaining stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. You have to undeniably have a look at picturesque Koberg Beach if you're here at Zoller's Outdoor Odysseys. A spree to Zoller's Outdoor Odysseys wouldn’t be complete without a journey to close by Seneca Fouts Memorial State Park. There is a magnificent hiking trail close to Zoller's Outdoor Odysseys called the Little White Salmon Trail; a good place is McLlroy Canyon. Koberg Beach State Park is worth a visit if you're at Zoller's Outdoor Odysseys.
