River Guides Snake River Rafts Whitewater Rafting Trips
The put-in is not too far from Jackson. The scenic beauty of Wyoming and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water will make you feel great. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often more difficult than elsewhere, so if you're not from around here don't forget that many of the sections here are not safe for beginners. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at |
a nearby campground. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way in this general area you'll find lots of paddling places. When you're paddling down a Wind River Range river like this one you always
| get great scenery along the way too. Getting some good exercise and spending some quality time in nature have a lot of people coming here. No shortage of good hotels, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set.
Briefly about the general area: Take a hike on the Granite Canyon Trail; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Snow King is pretty near. So many enjoyable things to do here in the Wind River Range, too great to be true. All our | |
|
national parks are nice places to pop by, and Grand Teton National Park is no exception. While you're here at Lewis & Clark Expeditions you will meet lots of people from close by Jackson, and you can have a pleasant hiking
adventure along the Valley Trail. Not much rain falls here at Lewis & Clark Expeditions. The wettest month of the year is regularly May, that's the one that rains the most; August is when it's the driest. Through the summer
months at Lewis & Clark Expeditions temperatures are usually in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's.
