Skagit River, Northern Cascade Range, Washington - On 2-15-2010 we floated in inflatable kayaks and 1 supercat.

The gauge was 5000 cf/s. There was lots of water and big standing waves in the s-curves. Definitely a class III.

You can scout the s-curves from the road very nicely. It is an exhilarating run. There isn't any boulders to dodge, just run the wave train staying to the inside curve.
