The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master in this state than those in other states, so don't forget that rivers here are less forgiving. Getting a good workout and spending some quality time in nature are sure to keep you coming back for more. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way in this general area you'll find lots of paddling places. This is a pretty short section so no need to bring snacks. The wild scenery of the Adirondack Mountains is great. This is not the only paddling section in this river system, there are others too. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay   the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick.
