The Route 1674 Bridge to Route 1695 Bridge section is the only paddling section along Snow Creek. Briefly about the general area: Going for a hike on the Cascade Trail is always a tremendous adventure. Snow Creek is right next door to Hanging Rock State Park which   is a stunning place; close by you come across the Hanging Rock Trail which is a nice hiking trail. The surroundings of this river have so much to offer. Lots of people from Walnut Cove come to Snow Creek. All the water falling down from the sky makes Snow Creek a wet site. Of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. High temperatures at Snow Creek through the days of summer are in the 80's, and the overnight is a bit cooler of course, usually in the 60's.
