  This stretch of Teanaway River - North Fork in Washington is 3.9 miles long and is a class III+ section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. The nature scenery of Washington and the playfulness of the water have people coming here. The starting point is not too far from Ellensburg, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you
    want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. A good workout and just being out on the river for a while have people coming from far and near. Some people prefer whitewater
rafting and some kayaking, either way in this general area you'll find lots of paddling rivers. The river winds through the Northern Cascade Range and you get great scenery. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. This is a pretty short section so better bring some good walking shoes. There are some good stretches to paddle in this river system, the Johnson Creek to Stafford Creek stretch is one of them. The rivers for whitewater  
rafting and kayaking in this state are often tougher than in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that rivers here are less forgiving.

On a great day at Teanaway River - North Fork you can take a hike along the County Line Trail, and at Teanaway River - North Fork you always meet someone from Cle Elum. All the outdoors fun things in the Northern Cascade Range will keep you coming back repeatedly. There is a glorious hiking trail next to Teanaway River - North Fork called the Miller Peak Trail. Teanaway River - North Fork is a wet location that gets a large amount of rain.
